We had a weatherman, Nash Roberts, who researched typhoons in the Pacific during WWII by flying into them. When a hurricane was coming he would be on TV with his map and grease pens and saying "The Nat. Weather Service says its going to do XYZ but I think it's going here."
We joked that we would should by his house and when his wife packed the car it was time to evacuate.

I remember the Marlboro man doing a video about regretting that he smoked. He did it with his oxygen tank connected. He apologized for ever doing the Marlboro commercials as a cowboy. It's been a long time since I saw it and that is the way I remember it. I don't know if it is still out there now or not. I saw it played in a class room.
