I remember the slogan but I don't think we ever had a tail.

ESSO was a big thing in my family. My Grandfather and His Dad both worked at the huge Baton Rouge Refinery.
I was a loyal customer (until they handed to keys of their Central American refinery to the new communist dictator.)
 
I was a professional photographer working in a studio. I developed my own film, and made my own prints!
Hubby and I both worked at a professional lab, printing in the darkroom. He also "ran film," C-41, E-6, and B&W.

I developed and printed my own work in college, all three types of film. I got to work with the Dye Transfer process for my senior year.

Those were the days... sigh.
