Millie was a hedgehog that I raised from a baby she could not see or hear yet, I raised her and when she was big enough we realesed her that was 6 weeks ago, then just 3 days ago she came back she was very ill when we got her back and today we took her to the vet because we were very concerned and they said that she had multiple organ failure and that she most likely ate some poison. In the end she was put to sleep which was a heart renching decision me and my mum have cried a lot over lossing her but the short life that she lived was a happy life

I cried wilst writing this but I felt like I wanted to say goodbye and that I am sorry I could not muster the words when you went away

I believe that animals can feel the love we give them, that little Millie knew how you felt about her during her short life, that you made her feel safe and cherished.
