That is where the vent arm that opens and closes the lid goes. I'll go take a picture of the fan in the door for you before it gets dark. It's lower to the ground to bring in as cool of air as I can get. The metal chimney acts
as a fan of sorts as it gets really hot with the sun hitting it. Then the hotter air rises through that drawing the hot air from coop with it.

Yes very happy. Well had 6 total hatch and 3 deformed and 2 weak and 1 drowned. So 0 remaining.
