Incubator turner middle rusty and won’t come out.

Hi! My friend lend me her Nurture right 369 incubator and the middle of the turner is rusty and won’t come out. I haven’t started putting the eggs yet as I’m worried as it won’t come out when the time is right. Anyone else has had trouble with this? What can I do to fix it?

Scrub it with baking soda and a tooth brush. Dampen first, sprinkle baking soda on and wait ten minutes then scrub it clean. If that doesn't free up the tray enough to come off then you'll need to use a penetrating oil. Then clean the metal once you get the tray off.

I can’t speak to the baking soda, but yes to the oil for sure.
