As I said in my intro thread: My intro thread
Here I am to show you guys my mini-dinos!
It was supposed to be only one thread to show them all — Heidi, Erwin, Trudy and Margrit, but Heidi deserves her own thread alone!
So I’ll create another thread to show my other 3 “chilckren“… Terrible pun.
Well.. That was(and still is) Heidi! My first chicken ever and my beloved bird! Her story is told in my intro thread.
That’s her first pic, when my wife brought her home! She was 1 week old. Weighting 45g
And the next day.
Soon, Heidi started to get really curious.
Weirdly but still pretty, she had a condition that blurred her bars the first time she feathered.
She grew up…
And she grew up too fast for me! First egg at 19 week and 2,4kg. Egg was 58g/2oz. Heavier than she was when we got her!
Biggest egg with 67g. All eggs bigger than 55g were double yolkers.
She was just perfect.
