I can't have roos either! I have a neighbor that complained about the dogs and isn't crazy about the chickens either. While I found his voice endearing I don't think anyone else did. And since the DH is the mayor and it is an ordnance I have been in constant trouble!!
I just relocated my White Crested Polish fellow today to a farm where the females took an immediate liking to him. I was happy for him, but so sad to see him go.
BYC was how I found him his home - the folks here love their birds.
Not a chance he was going to end up on a table or in a fighting pit.
