I woke up today and realized it’s comb is More red today than yesterday. 3 weeks old. I thought this one was a pullet and our other Plymouth a cockerel. The other one just has a decent sized comb and possibly more white than black on it’s barring.

Cockerels will be a lot lighter than pullets (more white).

I don't think it is a cockerel due to feather patterning/level of white.
I'd have to agree with this. Those look like pullets to me. Mine looked just like yours, and are very much pullets. I knew within the first week that my little roo was a he, just by how he was clearly different from the others in both the coloring and the striping.

Agree with likely pullets and likely marans because of the leg color (they look pink rather than yellow).

I thought my barred rock was a boy for about a solid three weeks (weeks 3-6) and then her head grew into her comb. But not sure about how marans develop, if that's what they are.

I hope you're right! The other one seems to have bigger white barring than black but this one started getting a redder comb literally over night. I know I'm going to have to just watch it for the next few weeks
Here is what mine looked like at almost two weeks...and what he looks like today. He always had a lot more light gray coloring, and the very distinct and more dominant white streaks.

Wow! Yeah he is a lot more distinct. I wasn't sure at this age if they would show the barring as well but yours is perfectly uniformed.

I haven't even heard of marans. They said they were Plymouth Barred rock but we all know how that goes. I'm going to look into that. That's interesting! Maybe I'm just jumping the gun a little bit. My kids had their heart set on a PBR like one we had and lost :/
It's amazing watching them grow into themselves so quickly
