It's been a long time...

So I don't know if anyone remembers me...
I've been around since the beginning of BYC with ChickChair and Terrie Lacey...

WELL, just to put a fine point on it, as of 8:15 this morning, my pet/house chicken, Obelisk the Tormentor has gone to the Coop in the Sky.

She just turned 12 years old on Memorial Day.

She'd go to the Petshops, to a ChickenStock hosted by belh out by Sturbridge, to the Drive Thrus and had much made over her. I am going to miss her very much as she is the last of my feather babies.

So sorry to here that. I lost my origonal chicken in September when she was ten years old

So sorry to hear of your loss, but I can tell you took care of your baby by her long lifespan and her many journies! I haven't met you before, but you have my sincere sympathy for the loss of your dear Obelisk.

It's so odd without her. I don't hafta wrestle my food away from her whilst she's begging on my feet. I DO miss her begging from under the table, having to let her in and out...all the things that aggravated me at the time.

I, and my DS, buried her out in the back yard by the snowball bush she hung out under in the summer.
