Ivermectin or Fenbendazile (Safeguard)?

We discovered some large maggots under skin near vent. Hen was putting off odor so that explains it. Vet prescribed ivermectin once for this, but will Safeguard work the same? I know concentration for both for parasites.

You need to remove all of the maggots asap, they can kill her. Can you post a picture of the wound?

Hi Thanks, we are working on her. She’s old and always kind of messy so we’re always cleaning Now bathing and trying to uncover older skin to see what we can find. So far we just found one big maggot and we’re not sure if it came out from under some dead skin or debris or out her vent. She started getting really strong odor a couple weeks ago. I’ll try to get a picture once we see what’s going on more.
