jubilee orpington cross buff sussex pls help

hi folks

I have 1 rooster jubilee orp. and 6 buff sussex hens
what will i get if i cross those to each other

unfortunately where i live we dont have any one selling jubilee hens

i wonder is it worth to cross them to gather since they have same shape skin color etc.

The chicks would be between buff and red columbian (so probably near the coloring of a New Hampshire red), and they wouldn’t have white spots. However, if you bred them back to the jubilee orp, the white spots (mottling) would show up in 50% of the offspring.

Yeah, no mottling in the first generation because it’s recessive.
