it's looks really great but the only thing that i have to ask is that on your chicken door you have a slidding latch on the out side which means that racoons and other little pawed creatures can figure out and open the door, doesn't that make you worried?

Sorry, I don't have step by step, done by a friend.
As for the latch, It's verrrry stiff, I can hardly work it. Plus it will soon be enclosed with a fence. yes, wire topped and dug into the ground. Plus am considering and electric wire or two, if for nothing else to keep my husband out of it.
