Just confirming these guys I got from TSC

They are supposed to be 2 Rhode Island Red pulleys and 2 Olive egger straight run. I’ve never had chicks this little, I got my current polish hens as 4 week old pullets!

At what age can I tell if I have a Roo? I’m allowed them I just don’t know if I really want one/don’t want my neighbors to hate me!

Typically around 6-8 weeks we can usually tell, by 12 it’s usually for sure. So if you post again at 6-8 weeks, we can probably tell you.

If im not wrong they all look like Olive Egger/Easter Eggers

And at around 3 to 4 weeks depending on breed some signs of being cockerels start. My Olive Eggers i could tell at 2 weeks were cockerels

Some breeds you cant tell until 8 weeks.

Around 6 - 8 weeks you will be able to tell weather your chicks are males or females.

Of the two Rhode Island Red chicks, one may be a rooster. I don’t know though, because it’s still a bit early to tell, right now I’m going off of feather color.

Awesome thanks! I’ll get better pictures in a month or so! I’m not opposed to a single rooster if my neighbors don’t complain but don’t want multiple how hard are they to rehome usually? I live in a pretty chicken popular area

I’ve heard they can be hard to rehome but I never had issues rehoming any of mine. I think it depends. Mine were all taken within minutes LOL

Great!! I’m hoping it won’t be too hard if I end up with any roos. I went ahead and joined a couple local chicken rehome groups just in case! Gotta be prepared
