(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I grew up with horses, pigs, goats and cattle, but never had chickens. I am new to chickens and will be receiving a shipment from Meyer's Hatchery this week.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 6 on the way.

(3) What breeds do you have?
Barnevelder, Deleware, New Hampshire Red, Lakeshore Egger, White Sultan, and Egyptian Fayoumis (hopefully all female)

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Google

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Sustainability Master's Student, and Swing Dancing

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Boyfriend and I bought our first home last year. We run an airbnb and are both working while attending college.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock when they arrive, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.
