For those of you who love puppies and puppy pictures.

I rescued Cato and two other sibs in October (coincidentally pitbull awareness day is in October). The other two have been rehomed, but Cato is my boyšŸ„°. His mom was hit by a car, but from what I saw of her around town she looked to be a VERY stocky and well built pit mix. I have no idea what kind of dog his daddy was. Cato was eleven pounds at about 7 weeks old, he is now fifteen pounds and only 8 weeks oldšŸ˜. I thought I had rescued a medium weight but probably gonna be muscular and stocky type dog, I was originally predicting 50lbs, but if this chart is correct, he'll be over 100lbs, maybe even 130ish.

I have only ever had one other terrier breed. She was a BRAT! And had to be rehomed because she was so horrible. This little guy is SO SMART! He is doing alright with chickens but since this is my first time training a terrier breed to chill with the chickens I would appreciate any advice y'all experts may have.

I will update with pics as he grows!

See how nicely he fits into his little dog bed? Well, he's already outgrown itšŸ˜

Here he is more recently

He is ADORABLE OMG!!! šŸ˜:love

That said though, I wouldnā€™t put much stock into those chart things hahah I did that one too and a bunch of calculators as well as the one that said to double their weight at a certain age or whatever and they varied sooo much first of all but they also said heā€™s be at least 70-80 lbs possibly even 90 or well over 100. Heā€™s now 10 almost 11 months and heā€™s only 57 lbs and still pretty short and I donā€™t think he will get much bigger at all. His Embark test predicted his adult weight at 62 lbs which I think is gonna end up being accurate. Honestly I think these things WAY overestimate and/or base it on morbidly obese dogs šŸ˜‚ so I wouldnā€™t be too too concerned honestly. I doubt heā€™ll even be anywhere near 100. But he probably will be over 50. Maybe 60-65? He does look like he could be part American Bulldog though which do get bigger than pits but I still donā€™t think he will be very big.
