Keeping eggs?

Not really sure where to post this, but I know once upon a time I read a BYC'ers website that had info on keeping eggs and how long they would be good for...and it even talked about keeping eggs on the counter. Would someone be so kind as to direct me?

Eggs can keep for a looooooong time in the fridge. On the counter assumes a 55-65 degree room temp, which is a little cooler than it is here

I never keep eggs older than 45 days, but in the fridge that means very little.
