I am very pleased to have found this website and join.
Thank you to the owners and creators!
I have a long association with hens (here in Australia everyone calls them "chooks") starting from when I was only 4 or 5 years old, when I was the only one in my family who could pick up the bantams, and walk around with them. They did not fear me, I did not fear them.
Now that I am retired and have an established garden, I want to share my patch with 4 or 5 hens, probably Isa Browns. A breeder lives nearby, they don't go clucky as readily as most other breeds, and they will perfectly complement my gardening activities.
Thanks again for creating this site!
I will be recommending this site to several BYC friends of mine.
