I will be breeding Black langshans and blue ameraucanas, as I plan on crossing a few for EE production (i sell eggs as farmers markets) I was wondering if anyone had thoughts about how the extra boys would turn out as meat birds, both the pure langs and the crosses, my ameraucanas are not very rangy at all, and have very nice builds. Some would just go to auction, but I've also considered selling to a local butcher as well as filling my own freezer.

Langshans are very tall breed, but they don´t carry much meat, araucana are a medium size bird..the outcome will be just inbetween...keep them for about 24 weeks and you will have some meat on them
