leghorns okay confined?

we can get some leghorn chicks (not sure if white or colored) from my son's kindergarten class/4-H. can anyone tell me if they do okay confined with other breeds? what kind of personalities, if any? can anyone tell me how to look for roosters with day-old chicks? wing feathers? thanks.

From my experience Leghorns tend to be not as calm as other breeds. I do not think that you will have a problem mixing them with other breeds though.
