Wheaten Ameraucanas. Well, I'm trying anyhow. I've been wholely unable to find good stock that I can get to my property alive TBH (plenty of hatching eggs in like, CA, about as far from me as you can get) so I'm working with some really half arsed birds.

Ah that’s too bad. I’m sorry you’re having so much difficulty locating stock. I feel like Ameracaunas are one of those more novelty type breeds that are more popular in places like Cali.

It's not all bad, I just need to work on my birds. A lot. I'm thinking of sourcing some BBS, which are more common around here, to improve what needs fixing in my stock.

I’m a huge believer in outcrossing anyway, love some genetic diversity. Although if I even mention it around serama folks nobody would touch me with a ten foot pole. Even though we really should outcross, considering our issues with heart problems.
