Bad day to be red and white on the property. Or a jester.

Man, that first bird was gorgeous. It looked just like your rocks and ground. Super pretty. Did that one live? Or freezer camp?
too small and male. i only have a lot of white in the area right in front of the barn where i put down some recycled concrete base so i coul roll out some of my heavier tools. so the photo gives a deceptive picture of my property.

You've been getting some interesting looking birds out of these crosses! Glad to be following along.
Glad to have you along the journey.

Not mentioned above (was at the vet with my soon to be barn cat), that 5.5 lb hen had more fat than I like to see in my birds. Disrobed both, they are becoming sausage with at least one other, didn't take photos unfortunately. Fat color and texture was good, just more than I like to see. Confirming, the liver was paler than my preference, still uniform color and glossy, but it's time to cut the feed quantity some.

If I see another bird with a similar liver later this week, I'll grab a photo so others now what to look for.
