Mating

I have only had chickens for a couple of months now, so I still have a lot to learn. My question is can a bantam rooster mate with a large breed hen? If so, will the chickens be large size chickens, bantam chickens or somewhere in between? Any help is greatly appreciated.

They can be hatched. It may be carried out either in-vitro or In-vivo procedures. One may bring out a whole new breed with that. This has been made possible through the recently evolved recombination techniques. So just consult a vet in your area for that.

I didn't word that question right. What I should have asked is can my bantam rooster mate with my large breed hens?

Maybe that won't be possible as the mating also has a particular considerations to keep in mind upon to.
