I don't. Sadly none of mine hatched. I was holding out waiting for yours!

oh darn! sorry to hear that. I have sworn off incubating shipped eggs, this is actually the first time in.. ~2 years I've tried incubating shipped eggs. hatch rates on shipped eggs - not so great!
let's just say a LOT of money has been spent on shipped eggs and husband put his foot down!

here's hoping these chicks come out of their shells soon! the OE chick that's hatched looks very black, even the toes and legs are all very dark! beak too. the feathers are still wet but they look black or maybe blue.. hope it's a girl!

I never trust broodies, but many people do. I just think I hatch better

Well, I am not convinced I hatch better, especially with the bantam breeds... Last hatch, 9 in lock down, 4 hatched successfully, but one had edema (bubbles of fluid under the skin, exhaling fluids) and passed within 48 hours. A 5th was malpositioned attempted assist, didn't last over 24 hrs, never got out of the shell. Maybe I should just say no to bantams

Thanks! I had a bunch pipping when I was home.

I am stuck at work. But the last update I got was 4 pips and 1 baby hatched! I know it was a Mille Fluer D'Uccle that hatched, but not sure what is pipped. This work day is going SO SLOW!!!!

I was right there with you. I purposely planned it that way, so I wouldn't pester them. I had one die though because it got rolled. It was a long day though.

I now have 5 rocks and 4 beautiful blue silkies. That is half of the eggs. 3 more are pipped, and I think I have 5 quitters, and one that got rolled too much. Waiting patiently for the last 3 to hatch. Started with 18.
