The gold ones and the Amhersts are so pretty!

you cant eat them, you grow attached to the first batch, thast why you keep them for breeding lol

I did and gave them to dad to raise and I was incubating for him for over a year then he just opened the pen and left all of them free one day, I was a bit upset about it.  ughhh

Were they easy to care for? I hear they need space.

Okay, I'm officially jealous that you have that kind of haul from the gardens already!

I took some PVC pipe and construction plastic and made a greenhouse. Some was from canned items from the fall season. We canned the carrot slices and peppers together to make a hot carrot last year.
We want to do more of those.

To be expected or do you think removing the paint had something to do with it?

Well then rest of the hatch wasn't as good as the 3/5.
I think the eggs may have been mixed with my regular eating eggs, over 10 days old.
