Maybe excessive egg laying?

Hey! I have a 8 month old female mallard that just begun her egg laying. I remember she laid her first egg without any issues and ever since then she’s been laying at least one everyday it’s been a good month that this has been happening.All the eggs have been perfectly hard and no deformities, her behavior is as usual she eats and drinks well. She did get broody in the beginning but then stopped, because I don’t want ducklings at the moment so I take them away. I just wanted to know if her continuing to egg lay even after she made her original clutch is normal?

By taking her eggs away, you are inspiring her to lay longer. The urge to procreate is very strong in birds.

I always take mine away. They are very taste! When I want ducklings I use an incubator. She will most likely take a break come winter.
