I did a zine fest last week and one of the zines I made was an extremely minimal guide to processing, thought y'all might like it.

I wasn't really sure what kind of reception to expect but people were pretty interested in it and overall quite positive! So I might make a more elaborate illustrated guide sometime.

To the point with great illustrations! I feel a little less squeamish about it now, haha. (I intend to butcher occasionally when necessary/too many roos, but not excited about it ) Well done!

BTW, the testicles can be alarmingly large even if the cockerel was a good boy. My cull, Yellow, had testicles that were as big as his head. But other than being something of an escape artist he was a perfectly well-mannered young fellow.

Thanks! You can do it! Truly it's not fun on the day but it is delicious after and when they've become a problem in the flock, a true relief for your other birds.
