Does anyone have experience with Mexican squealer/black bellied squealer/whistling ducklings? Our Rouens laid eggs around the pond, and they rarely successfully hatch so we took them in to incubate. There were some wild squealer ducks that have come and gone at the pond as well. Well today is day 25, and this morning while putting the eggs on lockdown, I found one had already began pipping. It hatched at lunchtime and appears healthy. I am curious if this is a baby squealer, as their incubation time can be as short as 25 days. Attaching a picture.

Not sure on breed but it looks like it has yolk on it?did it absorb all the yolk sac?
He had literally just hatched before this picture, so he was still quite fresh and wet. I did not open the incubator to check his belly and had to leave for work. So it is possible it's his yolk sack and he's just early.
