I have 3 that are basically inseparable. All 3 have gone missing in the past 2 days. If one has become broody and nesting privately somewhere is it possible that the other 2 would hang around as well? I know it’s possible that all 3 fell to predation but on the same day I think would be unlikely. All 3 have lived with the rest of the flock for 8-9 months and have thrived. Those little things are incredibly agile. I can’t see them all being taken on the same day. Thoughts?

Raccoons, hawks, that kind of thing. They’re about 9 months old. I’ve lost chickens before while they’ve been out free ranging but never 3 in one day. And it’s been a few months since I’ve lost one

I would make a check of all the possible areas she could be broody at and also check for feathers, blood, animal prints, etc. Have you noticed any animals hanging around lately?
