I hope I am putting this in the right place! So, I am interested in showing for the first time. I have recently gotten 3 D'Uccle chicks, and thought that they would be good candidates. My question is, at the age of one week, is there any ways to tell wether they are good quality or not? I got them from a different source than usual, so do not know for sure. If they end up being bad quality, I also have some Pure, good Quality BO, and Blue ameraucanas in my flock, as well as a Marans. Would these birds be better options? Thanks for any advice.
