MJ's little flock

We need to continuously adapt to the individual. Kudos to you for changing your approach to what works best for each of your ladies. Crating is not always the answer but it can be an answer in some situations. It broke my heart to crate Maleficent but it worked and she did not jam her head into the bars or hurt herself in anyway. The next time it might just be locking the hen out of the nest box or taking her eggs.
I’m thinking I might lock Tegan out of the old house, and having to move into the new house might be enough to disrupt her.

Blow me down if the wild child hasn't learned an adorable and useful new trick!

Since returning to the roost with Mary and Janet, anxieties have skyrocketed.

To ease the ruckus, Peggy has learned to step on my hand and be carried up to the rafter! Cool as a cucumber!

Three nights in a row and it's getting easier each time.

I'm both delighted and flabbergasted!
