Monitor roof

I would either frame a plain gable roofed shed, then add a lean-to to each side and leave the "wall" between the top of each lean-to roof and the eaves of the taller section open.

Or use the framing for south side of a Woods' open air coop on both sides. This thread, https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/8-x-12-woods-coop-design-plan.1221551/ has pretty good plans.

Edit to add. If making it a monitor instead of a half monitor, I might not leave the entire wall open in my cold climate.

Does anyone have any blueprints or instructions on how to build a monitor roof?
Do you mean like this?:

I don't think many, if any, have built one of these here on BYC.
You're probably best off searching nine to find framing plans.

Thank you so much for the tips! I didn’t even know where to start. I’ll share with my builder!
