I absolutely have to share this exchange, becuase it's hysterically funny.. I sent my dh a link to this post that essentially said "I'm never complaining about childbirth again, I only *have* to do it once in my lifetime" (I already have so it can't be 0 for me

Has anyone ever quietly snuck up behind a hen and actually saw her lay an egg? I did back when I was a young girl on my Pappaw's farm. I watched a hen go into the henhouse and snuck in really quiet and I hid behind/under the nest while she was preoccupied and I saw the egg come out and fall into/land in the nest. Well I found out where eggs came from!

I never wanted to see that again! I thought that had to hurt and I thought I saw tears in her eyes! Boy, that was a learning experience I never have forgotten!
