It looks very nice! What is the little opening on the side for? Also, depending on the predators in your area, you may need something more than chicken wire. The run area is very narrow, so the chickens wouldn't have very much space to get out of the reach of something that might stick a paw through...maybe add hardware cloth???

its in my backyard... which has a small fence. theres a few cats in the area, but no problems yet.

chickens are 5 months old tommorrow, hope they start laying soon.
i think im going to modify the end with a door so i dont have to run around trying to catch them =p
