My daughter brought home 7 bantam silkie eggs and we put in the incubator. Our first time and all 7 pipped. So far today 6 have hatched and the 7th isn't gonna be too long. There are two bigger barnyard mix eggs a friend wanted us to try so we put them in a few days later. We will see how they do. I have been watching and videoing all day long. I am totally enamored. I already have one short 21 second time lapsed video of 5.5 hours. Will have another when egg 7 hatches. Loads of other photos and videos. Love it. I'm hooked. I can't see a way to post a video and my album isn't public, but here are a couple pictures.
They're like drunken raptors from Jurassic Park or maybe wobbly bowling balls knocking around the "pins" of unhatched eggs.
Thinking of names for a group of 7. My daughter likes days of week. I've suggested - colors of rainbow, 7 deadly sins, 7 continents, 7 dwarves, 7 wonders of world, magnificent 7 (though all dudes). Drawing a blank on more.
