17 weeks ago my broody had 13 eggs, which hatched into 9 chicks. over time, 2 went missing. later, I lost one of my beloved pullets to something heavy. now I have 2 pullets and 4 cockerels. my favorite hen, an Easter egger, got 3rd in fair. ok, anyway, please comment.
