I just noticed today that she was in position, longer than usual, trying to poop. I looked at her vent it was messy but not caked, but there was a long skinny band/ribbon that was poking out and kin of folding up towards the vent. When i went to get a closer look she took of running and it went back into her. She is sitting in her box now acting like she is laying. I don't think its tape worms because i haven't seen anything in their feces and this was pretty large and didn't have segments. Any ideas? Thank you.

It could possibly be an egg membrane from a deflated broken shell-less egg. I would look her over again on the roost tonight to see if it is there. Then put on a disposable glove, and lubricate it, then feel inside her vent with one finger about 2 inches to check if it is still there. This happens fairly commonly in newer layers that may have soft eggs. If she still seems constipated, you could try 2tsp of mineral oil, mixed into a small amount of watery feed and some egg.
