Mystery chick!

We recently purchased some egg chicks from mt healthy hatchery, and this one was mailed with the rest as a “free chick” we have no idea what breed, or gender this chick is. Anyone have any ideas?

Here she/he is at around 3 weeks old, she/he looks nothing like any of the breeds sold by the hatchery, except possibly an easter egger? Any thoughts?

Looks like it could be a variation of brahma. Perhaps a grey brahma? Or maybe a lavender breed mixed with a barred breed. Keep us updated!

Maybe! Here they are this week (a little over 6 weeks) it seems like we are going to have to change their name from Cinnamon to something more fitting lol. I’m leaning a bit towards it being a male, their comb has gotten a but redder this week

Here’s a 17~18 week update (i’ve lost track) but they have turned out to be a gorgeous hen who has (as of a few days ago) begun laying the cutest little green eggs!
