Same. Eventually I wanna get another rooster. Last one was human aggressive, so he had to go.

I've never kept them however they are on my "have to have" list. I hope you find another rooster soon!

Will probably get another next year. Right now I got lots of organizing of birds, & a person who needs to take their two meat turkeys I've raised for them, plus their 3 chicks that will be ready to be taken soon. This was thrown at me, I didn't offer to raise them. They don't even have their coop built yet. If they don't take their Turkeys soon, they'll be given to them in shrink bags, & a fee for feed costs.


Hopefully you can get yourself some Sumatras. The males are abit of a hit, & miss with their attitudes though.

Yes I like them too!! Good grief, not enough years left in my life to keep all the breeds I want!

Next chicks to be hatching are Malays I ordered from a breeder, a laughing chicken egg, an egg from my Chameleon hen, & a random Sumatra egg.

So, more additions coming soon.
