I plan to take a lot of pictures and see how these guys change as they grow, so I thought I'd start a thread of their own. The first chick has hatched!

This is actually my 4th hatch, but my first really big one. My first batch was jumbo wilds (25 eggs, hatched 12), my second was falb fee (25 eggs, hatched 11?), my 3rd was an assorted batch (24 eggs, hatched 13), this one is SSC - Silver Schofield Collection (60 eggs). 49 eggs were left at lockdown. So cute!! Is this your first time doing this!! What type are they
I did a bunch of research before getting a bird for meat/eggs. Chickens were the first obvious choice, but the more I researched, I realized they weren't for me. I live inside city limits, and they were just too noisy and messy for me. I wanted to get some easter eggers at first. Thanks can't wait!! They grow so fast!! I love chickens!!
