So I'm not new to chickens but I'm new to silkies and hatching chicks. My hen hatched 14 out of 17 eggs 2 weeks ago. I brought her and the chicks in and put them in a Brooder I personally made. Idk if I should have done that. I didn't want the chicks outside so I brought them all in. She flipped out when she was away from her babies. Idk what to do now. They are silkies and very small. Do I keep babies inside and put mama out ? Or bring her in at night. Do I leave the heart lamp on. Please help

Only use the heat lamp if the babies seem to need it. They'll feather in faster with just their mother's warmth, but as they get bigger she may need some help keeping 14 of them warm. Let her raise the babies but I'd keep them all inside (just to enjoy them). The babies are adorable (as is their gorgeous mother).
