(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? YES Im a Newbie chicken mom.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have 4 beautiful pullets.
(3) What breeds do you have? I have Black Astralops.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I am fascinated at their development.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I try to bake bread, love to read and learn about urban homesteading.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have a wonderful husband who built me a beautiful chicken coop. We have two lovely grown children who make us very proud. We have 2 rescue animals: Abby a Lab/Pit mix and Dexter a grey tabby cat.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I found BYC while scrolling through Google looking for information about South Florida chickens and molting.
I'm glad to have found such a helpful community online.
