We got our first chickens in late June. Still waiting for eggs. We ended up with two roosters and had to give them to a farm friend bc we aren't allowed to have chickens, much less roosters lol.

We have four chickens. Not sure what they all are - each is different. But three are bantams of sorts and one of those is a frizzle. We have one regular sized hen that we think is a silver laced wyandotte.

I've got six kids, but three are in college, so maybe I'm compensating with chickens? It's so fun to have them and my youngest, 8, REALLY loves them. We live in a Chicagoland suburb but are hoping to move out to a more rural area when we retire, so maybe we can have more chickens!
