Easter edgers are good producers and lay colored eggs. How many eggs do you anticipate using in a week and how many chickens do you have room for and want. You don’t need the very best layers if there are only 2 of you but you want 6 chickens for instance. Extra eggs are great to give to family and neighbors though.
