Good afternoon everyone,

This is my first post and so wanted to say hi, and that I am looking forward to getting our flock of birds next month. We have never had chickens before; they will be pets first and foremost for our son (and me, shhh!).

I have spent hours watching YouTube channels and documentaries about chickens in preparation for getting our girls. The last two weekends my husband and I have been clearing the jungle of weeds from our back garden, next weekend we will be building our 4x4m secure run.

Our other hobbies include geocaching as a family and being slaves to our two cats.

Looking forward to chatting and learning from you all.
