It's always best to use another temp/humidity gauge aside from the gauge on the machine. This second one you will put inside with the eggs. Machines have a way of going out of calibration. Get a good one and trust the one inside the machine.

The Govee gets good reviews online, I've never used it however it seems like a fine meter. So definitely use the Govee!
