Hello all. I just got my first pair of chickens this past weekend at an auction. I had been watching a friend for over a year now play with her flock and decided to take the plunge in a smaller way. I have a rooster and a hen. "Ozzy & Harriet". I have been told they are Japanese Bantams. So far no eggs, but hope they do lay eventually so I can get them to my friend's incubator! I plan to add a hen eventually of a larger breed to get some eggs to eat at a later date. I am enjoying all the great stories and pictures on here!
