Hello everyone! I'm new to BYC, coming here with hopes of learning! 
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
No, I've owned chickens my entire life. I don't remember a time without them running all about our farm.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I'm not sure of an exact number, my guess would be somewhere around 50 or more birds.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Bantam Cochins / Pekins! I raise them
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Their adorable personalities and friendliness. I know not all breeds are like the Pekins, but chickens can be very sweet.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like to raise other types of animals, but I haven't gotten into that as much as I'd like to.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have some dogs, cats, rabbits, pigeons, guineas, goats, and cows.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Anytime I have a question to google, BYC pops right up! I've joined because I've heard good things about this community.
