i feed them onion from the garden, and i havent noticed a difference in the eggs.



mine go crazy for tomatoes too. i have a few tomato plants in the garden, and seems like none of my fruit make it past the size of a half dollar

oh well. DH doesn't like tomato, so at least someone is eating it!

Here's my silver spangled Hamburg, Phoenix, and my golden Campine, Kitty Cat, going crazy for tomatoes.

It's so funny how I can give them more tomatoes than there are chickens, yet they will chase each other all over the yard for one tomato (although here they are eating their own)! Just like children....
