New tax hikes

Well the fuel tax went up another 3.5 cents today in Calif.

We now have the highest fuel taxes of any state.

Did any other states go up or down ?

Well Dennis, I guess no one thinks about the price; they just fuel up. We gassed up the wife's car the other day, and I noticed that gas was a few pennies cheaper at the other station across the way. She refused to buy gas there because it was owned by middle eastern people. I hate to tell her that we were probably going to buy gas from the mid east no matter where we bought it.

I don't know about fuel tax, but fuel itself has gone up about 20 cents since spring per litre in MB, and the provincial government raised provincial sales tax this month by 1% - illegally. Yeah, it all sucks. Here's to griping every once in a while. Back to life now.
