HI! My name is Jamie, and we're diving into the "chicken thing" late next month. I've been lurking here for quite a while, and finally decided to take the plunge.

I wanted to say that this is such a great site, and has provided me with so much information, and a lot of insight into the world of back yard chickens.

I would simply suggest, don't buy your chicks at Pratt's. PM me if you want more info.

And I hope your personality doesn't mean your kids have seen me professionally! I use lots of Happy Gas for kids!
